Ghana’s top provider of Bulk SMS services, NALO Solutions Limited, has organized a workshop on personal branding and photography sessions for women in business in collaboration with WeMomprenuers, a women advocacy organization. The workshop, which was facilitated by Petra Aba Asamoah, a marketing executive, and author, forms part of NALO Solutions’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, which aims to empower female-led businesses across the nation.

Petra Aba Asamoah, Marketing Practitioner and author, has shared insights on how she got the inspiration for her new book ‘Jungle Dance’ and the thoughts she put into the writing of the book. Starting with what inspired the writing of ‘Jungle Dance’, she shared that as she was turning a year older, that is from 35 turning 36, she thought to herself that age 35 was an amazing year but then how was she going to package this year and make it into a good memory?

Marketing Practitioner and Author, Mrs Petra Aba Asamoah, has emphasized the importance of sharing positive stories of Ghanaian women through blogging. She said telling stories from a negative perspective prevents us from getting the value from our culture and traditions. According to her, it is imperative for women bloggers to develop and uphold standards and create an environment in which every woman can live up to their full potential.
